Dom has been burning up our stereo all summer long with his star-spangled banger "Living In America", and with the buzz around him beginning to carry overseas, we're thrilled to announce the band as the latest addition to the Neon Gold team. In association with Burning Mill Records - who released Dom's amazing debut Sun Bronzed Greek Gods EP from which the two tracks on the 7" are culled - we'll be bringing Dom's debut release beyond US borders into the world on Neon Gold later this month, complete with brilliant AA-side and EP standout "Jesus" on the flipside.

Standing in stark contrast to the synth-drenched, tongue-in-cheek patriotism of "Living In America", "Jesus" is a less ironic affair that finds Dom longing for the ephemeral pleasures of youth - ecstasy and basement parties, make-outs at the movies and young love - over lo-fi guitars and timid keys riffs. Like the more earnest younger cousin to the sterephonic bombast of "Living In America", "Jesus" shows off Dom's impressive versatility and provides a surprisingly brilliant compliment to it's All-American counterpart on this very special AA-side release. It was a little over year ago that we sent out a wake up call to industry A&R's to get wise to the fresh sound of Harlem's finest lady MC Azealia Banks, and shortly thereafter XL snatched her up and locked her away to get to work on her debut album. Since then it's been all but radio silence from the one they now call Miss Banks (save for a recent feature on the new Major Lazer EP), until this week when she resurfaced with a sterling out-of-nowhere cover of Interpol's "Slow Hands". The big surprise? Turns out girl has some PIPES. Gone is the X-rated flow she rolled out on early tracks like "Seventeen", replaced by soft, honey-throated vocals and a soulful croon that establishes Banks as the total package and a force to be reckoned with on the 2010 hip-hop landscape. Serious. Gamechanger.

Things have been kind of quiet on the Penguin Prison remix front while dude's been hard at work finishing up his debut album - which y'all should be warned is sounding completely and utterly amazing - but now he's back with a fiery new remix of our beloved Neon Gold alumni Passion Pit. Putting to bed any concerns that his remix muscles might have atrophied over the past few months, the track is a hypnotizing melange of pulsating house piano, ice cold synths and chilled out female vocals, and we've got it on exclusive lockdown for you below.
